Richard and I have recently added running to our workout regimens - much to my chagrin. I can't knock it too much since it is the fastest way to loose inches, however it's also the fastest way to lose muscle mass (and boobs... can I complain about that for just a second!). To prevent this (the muscle mass loss, not the boobs) we try to include post-workout snacks into our diet. Hard-boiled eggs, peanut butter, and of course, protein shakes and smoothies.

A Tale of a Guest Room and an Office

Our home has two bedrooms - ours and an extra. Although that's not the most ideal situation for a young couple looking to grow a family, we knew this house was meant for us the moment we saw it. The bedrooms are big with walk-in closets in each, the floor plan is unique and fits well with our routine, and every room has an abundance of natural light. However, when it came to deciding on the design for the second bedroom, let's just say it was a long disagreement - Richard wanted a home office and I wanted a guest room. Our final decision? Both!

Living Room Tour

I can honestly say this is the first NY winter that has FLOWN by since I moved here. Granted it has also been the most mild of winters, but still... here's to an even warmer spring! We have definitely been busy these past few months and I can FINALLY show off some updates to our new home. We are in no way "put together" and still have a lot of projects to complete (actually start), but this whole homeowner thing is pretty cool.
