Holiday Gift Guide for Toddlers

This post contains affiliate links.

I usually don’t get into the Holiday spirit until after Thanksgiving, but now that I have a kid and soon a house big enough to store decorations, I’ve been chomping at the bit to get started. And since we’re still packing to move, I’ve put a lot of my holiday energy in creating Ellis’ wishlist—so I thought I’d share along with some other cool ideas! And early since a lot of these ideas will be on sale on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Disclosure—these gift ideas are predominately for kids between the ages of 12 months and 2 years. I also tried to stay as gender-neutral as possible (however, some products listed do have gender specific options for you!).

Experience Gifts

We try to include non-item gifts on our wishlists because we don’t want our daughter (or any future kids) to depend on stuff being “gift-worthy,” nor do we want too much stuff filling our house every year. Plus, these type of gifts we can all enjoy together to create memories!

  • Children’s Museum membership

  • Tickets to local amusement park

  • Movie theatre gift card (more for 2yo+)

  • Zoo membership

  • Aquarium membership

  • Kids music classes (or local “mommy and me” classes)

  • Waterpark passes (indoor ones too!)

  • Swim lessons

  • Pott’s N’ Paints/Color Me Mine gift certificate (more for 2yo+)

I plan to add more to the list as I continue to build out Ellis’ wishlist (and while shopping around for my younger nieces and nephews). I also plan to share a really fun stocking stuffer idea post that will be for the whole family—my family’s big on the stockings so I will be continuing that tradition with my husband and kids and I already have some ideas brewing! Get excited, friends!

Again, save this post and keep checking back for updates!
