For the Love of Fridays

Happy Friday!

- I’m currently watching season 2 of The Punisher with the hubs. Daredevil is still my favorite Marvel show, but this season is proving this show might keep its second place spot. Even if I have a hard time separating Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle from his Shane character in The Walking Dead.

- These new pillows (1, 2, and 3) we just got to help change things up in our loft.

- When I was a kid, we had to live with my Grandma and Papap while my parents looked for a new house. My Papap was the type of person who was rough around the edges until you got to know him more—then you learned he was one of the biggest softies. As a kid, he intimidated me, but now that he’s gone, I’m starting to remember more of the sweet things he did for me. One of them was sharing his caramel-covered chocolates with me. Years later, I could never find them on the shelves but recently Werther’s brought them back and they are just as yummy as I remember!

- We enrolled Ellis in swim school this month and it’s going… as well as expected. When I take her to the pool at the Y on our own she loves it, but in a class setting she’s less than thrilled. But we’re hoping she gets used to it and learns a thing or two so we can swim our hearts out this summer!
