For the Love of Fridays

Happy Friday!

- I turned 30 this week and I had a lot of feelings about it. And my mom is visiting me to celebrate (thanks to my sneaking, loving husband) and watch Ellis so Richard and I can have a date night in the city for the first time since she was born!

- I’ve been re-watching Glee on Netflix because it’s good background noise and Ellis loves music. Even though the acting is ehh, I never realized when I first watched the show how well they handled Kurt’s character coming out to his father (and how well his father parented). Maybe it’s because I’m a parent now, but it made me cry.

- I started a fiber art project inspired by A Beautiful Mess and I’m almost done with it. I’m excited to share and give a little how-to!

- I just bought Ellis and I matching swimsuits from Kortni Jeane swimwear and now I can’t wait for summer!

- Ellis has mastered clapping and it’s giving me life!
